Bring Your Brave - Social

As Art Director, I helped reimagine the CDC’s Bring Your Brave campaign for social—transforming existing assets into a more dynamic, engaging content system designed to better connect with women and drive awareness around breast cancer.

I led the creative refresh by introducing a more expressive visual approach—leveraging bold typography, illustration, and strategic cutdowns to make the content feel more human, accessible, and platform-native. A key part of the work was rethinking how long-form conversations could live on social, which led to the development of roundtable cutdowns that became some of the campaign’s top-performing posts and helped reach new audiences.

By combining thoughtful design with audience-first storytelling, the work not only increased engagement but set a new benchmark across CDC social—earning top-performing content across divisions and contributing to multiple industry awards.

This project was about making critical health messaging feel seen, heard, and impossible to ignore—using design as a tool to drive both impact and action.
